Banana Raspberry Silk Chocolate Fondue
4 ounces of butter
4 ounces of margarine
1.5 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
4 ounces condensed milk
2 pounds confectioners sugar
2 cups raspberries, frozen and pureed
1 ripe banana, pureed
- Place chocolate, butter, and margarine in a double boiler over medium heat.
- Stir until butter melts, then add condensed and evaporated milks. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Whisk sugar into chocolate mixture, stirring until incorporated well.
- Add vanilla, banana, and raspberries and cook for 10 more minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir well.
- Pour into a Fondue Pot
and serve with your favorite dippable.
Cinnamon Chocolate Fondue Recipe
1/4 cup butter or margarine
8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
1/4 cup flour
2 cups light corn syrup
1/4 cup Kahlua
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Add chocolate, corn syrup, and butter to a double boiler. Melt over medium heat.
- Stirring constantly, whisk flour into chocolate. Cook for 1 minute.
- Remove chocolate from heat and mix in cinnamon and Kahlua.
- Pour into fondue dish and serve.
Chocolate Raspberry Fondue
2 (7 ounce) mildly sweet dark chocolate bars
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup frozen raspberries, pureed
2 tablespoons raspberry liqueur
- Follow basic fondue instructions, adding raspberries and liqueur just before serving.
Chocolate Caramel Fondue
1 cup whipping cream or heavy cream
16 ounces of dark, milk, or semisweet chocolate
1/2 cup caramel topping
- Follow basic fondue instructions, adding caramel 1 minute before removing from heat.
Chocolate Irish Cream Fondue
9 ounces semi-sweet baking chocolate
1/4 cup light or heavy cream
1/4 cup Baily’s Irish Cream
- Follow basic fondue instructions. Add Irish Cream just before serving.
Chocolate Coconut Cream Fondue
This chocolate fondue recipe is by far my most requested recipe from party guests. Note: if you have trouble finding the cream of coconut try looking in the alcohol section of your market, where they sell the mixers.
1 (15 ounce can cream of coconut
12 ounces bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, chopped
1/4 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup coconut extract
